Carpenter
Friends Fellowship Community is looking for a qualified carpenter with proven experience. Must have a good understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Will primarily be responsible for installing drywall, framing, basic tile installation, and other general maintenance skills.
Successful candidate must have great attention to detail, be knowledgeable with general maintenance duties, and be able to effectively work with a variety of carpentry materials and equipment. Candidate will need to be a motivated self-starter and have the ability to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards.
Some responsibilities include:
• Take accurate measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. drywall) according to measurements
• Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated
• Inspect rooms and conduct repairs or maintenance where needed
