One of our residents just happened to mention that she could not park her car in her car space because of the goose eggs. I did not think much about it until today so I walked over to take a look.
Good heavens you’d think the mama goose could pick a better spot than concrete and leaves. It is a poor attempt at a nest. They usually lay between four and nine eggs per year so we are on the high end here! They usually lay one egg every one to two days. Normally they do not leave the nest while the eggs are incubating for 28 to 30 days.
I guess our resident will not be parking in her spot for some time to come! Stay tuned for the latest update of mother nature at FFC!
