Friends Fellowship Community is proud to share that our own Renee Ullinskey, who has been a beloved hairstylist at FFC for many years, was honored with the 2024 Bob Rosa Buy Local Award at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on Friday, January 17, 2025.
The Bob Rosa Buy Local Award is to be given to a person who has promoted the Wayne county business community through their business practices and has consistently demonstrated the highest level of integrity and honesty in the manner in which they conduct business; working to identify and utilize area vendors and service providers in the operation of their business and promoting the same practices among other area business. This includes working to enhance the Wayne County area through involvement in volunteer activities that positively impact the Wayne County business environment.
Ron Holbrook, Wayne County Chamber of Commerce Board Member, and Renee Ullinskey, recipient of 2024 Bob Rosa Buy Local Award
Renee, a proud Wayne County native and Northeastern High School alumna, is deeply embedded in the local community, making her an ideal recipient of this award. Her enthusiasm and support have greatly benefited numerous nonprofits and small businesses, including Friends Fellowship Community. Renee played a pivotal role in the success of FFC’s inaugural Car & Cycle Show in 2024, not only as a sponsor but also by leveraging her extensive community connections to secure additional sponsorships and raffle prizes.
Outside of her dedication to FFC residents and her work at Palais Royal, the salon she launched in downtown Richmond in February 2024, Renee actively participates in various local events throughout Wayne County. She maintains a vibrant social media presence, consistently promoting local businesses and organizations by sharing information and posting photos.
Renee proudly shows her well-deserved award.
Congratulations, Renee, for your well-deserved recognition and award! FFC is honored to have your unwavering support. Your love and dedication for the community shines through in everything that you do.
