Friends Fellowship Community participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, September 19. It was very different this year due to COVID -19. There wasn’t one large gathering in Richmond for those participating in the walk. Instead, those that wanted to participate could walk on their own, in their neighborhood or wherever they chose to walk. FFC’s team which consisted of employees and residents walked around the campus, beginning at the Main Building and on through Independent Housing. We had a great time and the weather was absolutely perfect to help raise awareness. FFC raised $4,591 for the Alzheimer’s Association through personal donations and fundraising, a basket raffle, Casual for a Cause days and a pizza sale which made us the top fundraiser in Richmond!!! We were also an Elite Sponsor. We would like to thank everyone who participated in any way to help make this event so successful!
